EXECUTIVE CHEF CHRISTOPHER TURKE
Upon graduating from the California Culinary Academy in 1996, Christopher joined Micheal Mina’s team at Aqua in San Francisco. He then went on to join the culinary team at Cake Bread Cellars before making his way to Kuleto’s Restaurant as Executive Sous Chef in 1999.
In 2002 Chef Christopher moved to Portland and joined South Park as Executive Sous Chef. Christopher joined RingSide in 2005 and was named Executive Chef to oversee the full culinary program at the Eastside RingSide Steakhouse in 2010.
Chef Christopher confesses to not being able to live without olive oil, good salts or San Marzano tomatoes. When not in the kitchen, Christopher can be found forging for fresh mushrooms, cooking for his fiancée and teaching cooking classes.
Christopher enjoys good wines and local craft beers. His hobbies include golfing, skiing or traveling to Hawaii, Mexico or anywhere in Oregon. Besides cheering on the Blazers & Timbers, he is a rabid 49ers and Giants fan.
