RingSide Steakhouse has been recognized for having Portland’s Best Steaks since 1944; almost seven decades with the same family ownership. RingSide Steakhouse Uptown and RingSide Steakhouse Eastside are both legends in the world of American steakhouses. Loyal diners and concierge staff offer this advice…”if you want the best steak, go to the RingSide!” With its long-time and well earned reputation, RingSide Steakhouse goes on in the 21st century “serving the best steaks in town since 1944!”
RingSide Steakhouse Eastside radiates a country club atmosphere on the Glendoveer Golf Course. This sister steakhouse provides all of the features of the Uptown Steakhouse but with a more relaxed club-like ambience.
At either steakhouse you can begin your dining experience with RingSide’s legendary world famous onion rings, James Beard once claimed them to be… ”the best I’ve ever had.”
RingSide Steakhouse Uptown has been perfecting the steakhouse experience for six and one half decades. It rings with tradition. Set in a one-of-a-kind brick building in the Nob Hill section of Portland, Oregon, this venerable landmark has its own civic identity.
Congenial valets will gladly park your car in the restaurant’s safe and secure parking lot. Parking is complimentary. Well informed long-in-service wait staff make your experience in dining as special as you could want it to be. Some wait staff have served more than 30 years. They easily demonstrate their expertise. The warming and welcoming fireplace along with the formal tuxedoed service make you aware you are in a venerable establishment.
Select a steak from a menu offering a variety of USDA prime & Certified Angus beef choices that are aged a minimum of four weeks. Steaks are hand cut on the premises. Dry-aged steaks are aged in one of Portland’s only on-premise dry-aging rooms.
If you want a non-steak break, other entrée selections are available. Diners can count on the finest in lamb, pork, chicken and seafood. The one pound Australian lobster tail is an event in luxury dining.
To accompany one of these fine dining choices, pick a wine from a list of more than 700 labels. Wine Spectator, the magazine for devoted wine lovers, has recognized both RingSide Steakhouses with its Best of Award of Excellence since 2003.
Desserts are delectable. Creations are handcrafted by experienced chefs and are offered as a fitting conclusion to your fine dining experience. Chocolate silk pie and Crème Brûlée are always popular. Don’t pass up seasonal berry and fruit specialties.
Both RingSide Steakhouses have placed significant awards and honors on their walls: Tom Horan’s America’s Top Ten Hall of Fame; Great Steakhouses of North America; Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence and the much coveted DiRoNA Award of Excellence – from Distinguished Restaurants of North America.
